6 — Iida Raura (22/11/2010)

THIS IS AN UNOFFICIAL TRANSLATION - PLEASE SEE THE ORIGINAL DIARY POST HERE

6 days remain until 2010 Sakura Gakuin Festival 💕
There are some difficult lyrics in Baton Club's song "Dear Mr. Socrates"
I couldn't understand some words' meanings at all so I tried looking them up in a dictionary
Then, it felt so interesting that I tried looking up four-character idioms to describe the feeling of working hard towards success at Sakura Gakuin Festival
1
"愚公移山" 🌸 2
I believe that if we put in effort, the festival will be a success ✩
We will all do our best to make it fun so please support us

Notes
1- Japanese four-character idioms (四字熟語; yojijukugo) can be found here. However, I didn't find Rau's idiom there, most likely because it's of Chinese origin.
2- The idiom "愚公移山" comes from a beautiful story about a man who was determined to move a mountain which blocked the way to his family home. Read more here.
